Mod-A-Day: Mocean Worker

Although I've never seen the term acid jazz applied to Mocean Worker, it certianly would fit. Mocean Worker is DJ Adam Dorn, who has a handful of albums to his credit all blending funk, soul, jazz and elecotronic pop. His DJ side comes through with a large dose of drum'n'bass throughout, but overall this is very dancable, soul infused jazz. Acid jazz. The song here, "Changes", features Herb Alpert on trumpet.
